About Me:  I am a first year student in the MACSME program studying to earn my credential to teach high school math and earn my masters of education. I grew up in Connecticut, received my BA in Philosophy from Vassar College, and moved to Berkeley, CA as soon as possible after graduation.

Research Interests:  As a first year graduate student, it's my job to become familiar with theories of learning, their histories, and the various research methodologies used in education research. My research interests are wide ranging, and I have not yet begun my own research project. I am particularly interested in how student motivation to learn is related to the classroom environment, curriculum, students' opportunities for articulation, and instructor's opportunities for providing related feedback.
