About me: I am a former secondary mathematics teacher and a first-year PhD student in the learning sciences and human development cluster. My curiosities relate to the integration of STEAM learning into trauma-informed education practices. Drawing on enactivist theory, I am interested in designing and studying mathematics learning environments where learners can improve somatic awareness through exploring relationships, monitoring internal experiences, and representing discovered patterns within a logical framework.
