Hi! I’m Ellen, an undergraduate Applied Math major at Berkeley. I am a lead faculty member of the Upper and Lower Berkeley Math Circles as well as the “Math Taught the Right Way” program. I love math and teaching and am mostly interested in how authority figures (such as parents and teachers) influence students’ understandings of mathematical concepts. I think everyone would love math if someone had just shown them the way.
