I’m a visiting scholar from Turkey. I’m a third year PhD student in Mathematics Education at Hacettepe University, Turkey. I gained my bachelor and master degree from the same department. I am interested in math education in rural provinces and the influence of culture on math. I am focusing on equality and equal access of opportunities in maths education. Through the interactive academic environment in university and EDRL, I aim to find how students understand, and think about mathematics, and how they construct the mathematical knowledge.
